700 Teacher Grade III C – Business Studies Vacancies Open at MDAs & LGAs

The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of Ministries, Independent Departments, Government Agencies, Regional Administrations, and Local Government Authorities (MDAs & LGAs), invites job applications from Tanzanians with the required qualifications and abilities to fill Seven Hundred (700) job vacancies as specified in this announcement.

Duties and Responsibilities

i. Preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson notes, and task schedules;
ii. Creating and reproducing teaching and learning aids;
iii. Teaching, assessing, and maintaining records of students’ progress;
iv. Supervising and monitoring student attendance at school and in class;
v. Overseeing the students’ intellectual, physical, and spiritual development and providing guidance and counseling;
vi. Offering professional and academic advice regarding education development;
vii. Managing and maintaining school property and materials;
viii. Performing any other duties as assigned by the Head of School in accordance with school responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Bachelor of Education degree with a teaching subject in Business or Business Administration (Commerce/ Bookkeeping/ Business Administration),
    OR
  • A non-education-related Bachelor’s degree with a teaching subject in Business or Business Administration (Commerce/ Bookkeeping/ Business Administration), along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution,
    OR
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce/ Bookkeeping/ Business Administration/ Business Studies without education training. Such applicants must be willing to undergo teaching training after employment.

Remuneration: Salary Scale: TGTS-D.
