Itilima District Council Call for Interview June 2025

On behalf of the Itilima District Council, the Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat wishes to inform all job applicants that interviews are scheduled to take place from June 24 to June 27, 2025. Applicants who pass the interviews will be assigned to their respective workstations.

All shortlisted candidates are advised to carefully follow these instructions:

  1. Interviews will be held on the dates mentioned above.
  2. Only those who successfully pass the interview will be offered positions.
  3. Detailed instructions—including interview locations, times, and required documents—will be provided to shortlisted candidates.

1. Interview Schedule and Instructions
Interviews will be conducted on the dates specified in this notice. Each job position will have its exact time and venue indicated. Candidates are expected to strictly adhere to the scheduled date, time, and location assigned for their interview.

2. Dress Code and Identification Requirements
All candidates must report to the interview venue dressed appropriately and neatly. Every interviewee is required to bring a valid form of identification for verification purposes.

3. Acceptable Forms of Identification
Acceptable IDs include: National ID (NIDA), Resident ID, Voter ID, Work ID, Driver’s License, Passport, or an official introduction letter from the local village or street government office.

4. Academic and Professional Documentation
Candidates must bring original certificates relevant to the position they applied for. These may include a birth certificate, Form IV & VI certificates, diploma, advanced diploma, bachelor’s degree, or higher qualifications. Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV/VI result slips will not be accepted, and presenting these documents will result in disqualification.

5. Additional Requirements for Specific Candidates
Applicants who completed studies outside Tanzania must ensure their academic documents are verified and approved by the relevant authorities such as TCU, NACTE, or NECTA. For professions requiring registration by a professional board, candidates must present valid registration certificates and practice licenses.

6. Candidate Responsibilities and Portal Instructions
All interview-related expenses, including transport, meals, and accommodation, will be the responsibility of the candidate. Additionally, shortlisted candidates must log in to their accounts on the job application portal to retrieve and write down their exam number, as it will not be provided on the interview day.

7. General Information and Encouragement
If your name does not appear on the list of shortlisted candidates, it means you did not meet the required qualifications. However, do not be discouraged—you are encouraged to apply again when new opportunities arise. Lastly, please be aware that Geita’s weather is sunny during the day but cold in the mornings, evenings, and at night, so bring appropriate clothing.
