Minimum Entry Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be a holder of Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The candidate must possess Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (AMEL) without type rating.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in removal and installation of aircraft components, repair, assembling and testing of aircraft systems.
- Assist in repair, test, overhaul and calibration of equipment and tools as per approved procedure.
- Assist in supervision of Aircraft Technicians in a particular field.
- Assist in Carrying out aircraft inspection and its components and document any defect observed to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft and its components is maintained.
- Assist in Ensuring strict compliance to Tanzania Civil Aviation Regulations (TCARs), applicable manufacturers’ instructions and other applicable regulatory bodies when carrying out the maintenance work.
- Report to the appropriate Authority and recording any abnormal conditions of wear, damage, etc. on aircraft, part or components.
- Assist in documenting all deferred defects or maintenance quoting relevant reasons and Authority references which permits deferment
- Performs any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Terms and Conditions:
Specified contract with attractive remuneration and fringe benefits as per ATCL Salary Structure and Incentive Scheme.

Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified by relevant Tanzanian authorities, such as the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) or the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA), as applicable.
