
6 Vacancies Open at Ilemela Municipal Council, The Director of Ilemela Municipal Council has received approval for new employment from the Permanent Secretary, President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, through letter Ref. No. FA.97/228/01/A/25 dated 29th April, 2025.
Therefore, the Director invites job applications from all qualified Tanzanians for the following position:
Open Positions and Description
1. Driver Grade II – 6 Positions
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting the vehicle before and after trips to determine roadworthiness and safety.
- Driving employees to various official destinations.
- Performing minor vehicle maintenance.
- Transporting and distributing official documents as needed.
- Recording all trips in the vehicle’s logbook.
- Cleaning and maintaining the vehicle.
- Performing other duties assigned by the employer.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed Form IV or Form VI.
- Possess a valid Class “E” or “C” driving license with at least one year of driving experience without causing accidents.
- Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) or any other institution recognized by the Government.
Salary Scale:
- According to Government pay scale TGS B.
General Application Conditions
